Inspired by both his father and grandfather, who were union carpenters, Jeremy Nelson learned from a young age how to build. It became his passion, which then turned into a career right out of high school. “I worked as a superintendent for large commercial companies before switching to residential and opening Rainier Construction,” Jeremy shares. “So, I have a wide scope of knowledge on the industry as a whole.”
Located in Gig Harbor, Rainier Construction opened in 2015 and serves the Kitsap, Pierce and greater Puget Sound area. Whether a project starts with vacant land or your current home is in need of updates, you can count on Jeremy and the professionals at Rainier to guide you through the process. As a general contractor, Jeremy finds fulfillment in managing projects and overseeing subcontractors as they work together to assist their clients with everything from feasibility through architectural design and permitting to final walk-throughs and inspections.
Rainier specializes in new construction custom builds, large-scale additions and renovations, commercial tenant improvements, as well as smaller projects, including single-room remodels, installation of windows and siding, and other types of smaller-scale construction projects. “We aren’t ‘too big’ to help owners with smaller requests,” Jeremy insists.
In addition to their quality craftsmanship, Jeremy and his team are committed to being a business of integrity, as they strive to be ethical and honest, and they focus on each client and building relationships first. “We pride ourselves on our standards and holding true to our word,” Jeremy affirms. “We still believe in following through with a good old-fashioned handshake. We want our clients to feel completely involved and informed. We put our clients first.”
At the end of the day, Jeremy finds most fulfillment in watching a client’s vision come to fruition and helping them to develop their plans along the way. “We strive to bring our expertise to the table to make their dreams even better than they planned for,” he smiles.
Jeremy and his wife Jamie have lived in Gig Harbor/Port Orchard their entire lives, and the couple is invested in their community. They enjoy being able to establish connections with locals and small businesses, and supporting these small businesses, here in this beautiful area they call home.
