It’s coming up fast! Be sure to mark your calendars and get your tickets today for the 33rd annual Taste of Gig Harbor, Rotary Club of Gig Harbor’s biggest annual fundraising event of the year!

The fun takes place from 5:30 to 9:30pm on Saturday, April 6, at the Gig Harbor Vintage Aero Museum (1108 26th Avenue NW). Attendees will dine on delicious tastes from local area restaurants and food purveyors while enjoying a lively atmosphere of fun and games, and the chance to outbid your friends and neighbors in the silent and live auctions.

Up for auction are “amazing experiences, services, and delightful individual items,” according to Trish Yates, Rotary member.

Tickets are available now online at TasteofGigHarbor.com. Priced $89 per person, tickets will increase to $120 after March 9. Each ticket includes savory samples from the Rotary Club’s restaurant partners, a drink ticket, and a glass of table wine.

All funds raised benefit the Gig Harbor Rotary Charitable Fund, which provides funds for the many projects that the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor supports through its Avenues of Service: Vocational, International, Youth and Community.

“This event is tons of fun!” Trish smiles. “Folks get dressed up (or in this case ‘gussied up) in their finest cowboy or cowgirl outfits. There are games of chance, a dessert dash, great music, and even some dancing. It’s a fabulous night of delicious food and entertainment, and it’s all for a worthy cause!

”This year’s theme is “Rotary Roundup!” (think all things Old Hollywood Western). Wild West costumes are encouraged, though not required.Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to show your support to Rotary Club of Gig Harbor while enjoying a fabulous evening of fundraising, surrounded by the wonderful people and businesses who make our community the special place that it is.
