Laura Jane Brougher, RN and Serina Jones, LME met and instantly connected over their shared passion for the aesthetic industry. As both women have extensive experience in aesthetics, the two decided to pursue a dream—together. After six months of renovating a commercial space, they opened Gig Harbor Aesthetics on the waterfront in the heart of downtown in February of 2020. Today, what started as a dream has grown into a busy, flourishing business.
“We both had a vision and desire to provide the best treatments and a standard of excellence in everything we do for those we treat,” reflects Serina, who now has 23 years of experience in her field. “It was a dream come true to work alongside a strong, loving and passionate woman who loved this industry as much as I do!”
Since opening their doors, they have expanded their clinic space by an additional 1,600 square feet and added five treatment rooms (they now have 10!). Laura Jane and Serina are part of a team of professionals who are dedicated to their craft: two nurse injectors, three master aestheticians, two patient care coordinators and an office manager—each woman an intricate part of the clinic. They are looking to hire two more injectors come the fall and winter months.
“All of our staff is so lovely and talented, and we are incredibly fortunate to have such amazing providers come to work with us,” says Laura Jane, an aesthetic nurse for the past 19 years. “I believe strongly in creating and maintaining a positive work experience for everyone, in a beautiful space.”
Clients are treated with a multi-faceted approach, among these being medical-grade skin care; skin rejuvenation with lasers, light, radio-frequency, microneedling, peels and facials; neuromodulators (Botox and Dysport) for wrinkle reduction; hyaluronic dermal fillers (Restylane, Juvéderm and Versa) for facial volume loss and improvement; natural biostimulators of collagen (Sculptra) for tightening and volume improvement; and Platelet Rich Fibrin for natural under eye rejuvenation (PRF).
