December 3 & 4

Gig Harbor High School presents its annual Tidefest December 3 and 4 at Gig Harbor High School. Held 10am to 5pm Saturday and 11am to 4pm Sunday, Tidefest brings in more than 100 artists and high-quality artisans from all over the Northwest to one location, offering everything from glass art, sculpture, pottery and paintings to wood products, leather bags, jewelry and clothing. Admission is $5. Money raised goes toward the school's activities and athletic programs, including the Speech and Debate team and the school newspaper. Visit Tidefest.org.
Tidefest sounds like an incredible celebration of creativity! Events like this highlight how much effort artisans put into their work, from intricate woodcraft to handcrafted leather goods. Whenever I visit craft fairs, I always pay attention to the small details that make a vendor's booth stand out—organization plays a big role. A sleek check holder can be a practical and stylish way to keep transactions smooth while adding a professional touch to a display. Supporting local artists is always a great experience, and having the right setup can make their work shine even more. Definitely a festival worth visiting!
